Electrical Maintenance Technician
To £50K + Overtime
2 - Shift; Earlies / Lates
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias) to join the engineering team at a successful, print and packaging manufacturing company in Blackpool.
Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.
Key Tasks:
* Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment
* Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair
* PPMs, breakdown maintenance and Route Cause Analysis (RCA)
* Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI's
* Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward
* Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades
* Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to
Key requirements:
* Time served Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND)
* Min of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of electrical systems and software; PLC's, Control Systems, HMI
* Improvement mind-set
* Excellent communication skills
