We are looking for a dedicated Secondary SEND Teacher to join our fantastic team in Peterborough. This is a permanent, full-time position, but part-time may be considered for the right candidate.

As a Secondary SEND Teacher, you will be an integral part of our supportive team, dedicated to providing an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. You will teach students aged 11-19, fostering their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.

* Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.

* Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

* Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.

* Monitor and record students' progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

* Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements for a Secondary SEND Teacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* .Experience working with SEND students in a secondary school setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.

* Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and motivation to support students' academic and personal growth.

* Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
