Our Sheffield site specialises in machining medium to large precision components, including crankshafts up to 4m in length and 500kg in weight. As we continue to invest in the site with over £5m in state-of-the-art equipment, we are expanding our maintenance team to support our cutting-edge machinery and infrastructure. With further plans for a brand-new facility, now is an exciting time to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.

The Role:
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong bias towards electrical systems and machine tool experience. This role offers the opportunity to support a range of equipment, from decades-old machines to brand-new CNC systems. If you have leadership skills and experience with Siemens or Fanuc systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical maintenance on a variety of manual and CNC machines, including lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and dynamic balancing equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines using Siemens and Fanuc operating systems.
Work closely with the existing team to support machine installations, including new state-of-the-art machinery.
Collaborate with the senior mechanical fitter and apprentice to ensure smooth operations across the site.
Support site services, including gas, heating, and lighting systems as part of our ongoing infrastructure upgrades.About You:

Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, ideally with Siemens and Fanuc CNC systems.
Experience working with a variety of machine tools, including both old and modern equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Leadership skills are highly desirable, with potential for progression into a more senior role.
