Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and food safety are maintained.
  • Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a positive team environment.
  • Help manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient food production.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Implement health and safety regulations within the restaurant to maintain compliance with local laws.
  • Assist in developing promotional activities and events to attract new customers.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
  • A solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations is required.
  • Experience in food production or cooking is advantageous, as it supports effective communication with kitchen staff.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with guests and staff alike
