Electrical Engineer

Our Client is currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, practical experience, and a passion for electrical systems and technologies. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems are carried out to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to execute projects accurately.
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and apprentices.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in an electrical engineering role, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering are a plus (e.g., 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
