As an Associate Director Highways and Infrastructure, you will lead a dynamic team in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. You will manage and drive forward our projects, ensuring excellence from inception to completion.

One of the standout consultancies are looking for an experienced Associate Director Highways and Infrastructure to help lead the London office and provide support to the director but ultimately, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to grow, develop and lead this already impressive team!

Associate Director Highways and Infrastructure Key Responsibilities:

You will oversee the design and implementation of highway and infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet regulatory and client specifications.
You will manage project teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and ensuring high-quality output.
You will coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth project progression.
You will lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
You will develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth and repeat work.
You will ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
You will apply your expertise in using DMRB standards to design roads and hard landscaping, ensuring compliance and excellence in all designs.
You will manage bid processes, preparing and presenting proposals to secure new projects.

Associate Director Highways and Infrastructure Qualifications and Experience:

You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
You will be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or possess an equivalent professional qualification.
You will have extensive experience in highway and infrastructure project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
You will demonstrate experience in using DMRB standards to design roads and hard landscaping.
You will have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
You will demonstrate work-winning experience and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
You will have experience managing bid processes, including preparing and presenting proposals.
You will have a thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
