Based in Witney this company is working with us exclusively to source an Engineering Manager to be part of their growing Operations Team that has recently had significant capital investment due to their continued success.

The successful candidate will ideally be a multi-skilled engineer with leadership skills and management experience/qualifications that will take responsibility for the sites maintenance strategy both planned and preventative.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a high degree of automation and batch production as well as experience and proven success with the Lean methodology and tools is advantageous.  

Managing the engineering team  the Engineering Manager will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with them to establish and maintain a high performance. The team will focus on the highest safety and quality standards as well as achieving maximum labour efficiency and enabling productivity output. 

The role requires someone who has strong leadership skills and whose style is very much people focused to ensure employee engagement is at its optimum level. 

On a day to day basis your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are up to date. 
Compliance is adhered to and up to date as well as ensuring any action needed is taken.
Developing the maintenance strategy for the site including budgets, resources and timescales for implementation. 
Providing technical leadership for all capital expenditure including undertaking the preliminary steps to establish costs, planning and management of all engineering projects.
All aspects of people management for the site based engineering team
