Finance Support Officer (Accounts Payable)

Duration: Permanent

Location: Leicestershire/Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Salary: £24,600 - £28,000 – part time applications are to be considered

Duties/Responsibilities:

• The Finance Support Officer will ensure that all transactions are processed accurately in an effective and efficient manner, in line with defined policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the administration of processing, verifying and reconciling supplier invoices, credit notes, statements, expense claims, and purchase cards
• Day to day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner
• To be proactively involved in all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, including supplier account maintenance and supplier payments
• Finance Support Officer’s will provide excellent customer service, issue resolution and tailored advice, escalating to management where necessary

Requirements:

• Experience of working within a high-volume service orientated department with good knowledge of finance procedures
• Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution skills
• Can commute to Leicestershire 3 days per week
