Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic mainstream primary school in Hackney. This role involves providing small group intervention support in phonics and maths, helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:

Deliver targeted phonics and maths intervention sessions to small groups of children
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning objectives
Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet the needs of each child
Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Support children in developing confidence and key skills in literacy and numeracy

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
✅ Strong understanding of phonics and early maths development
✅ Ability to engage and motivate children in small group settings
✅ A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
