Prospero Teaching are currently looking for an enthusiastic PMLD Teacher with a passion for Autism to join this special school in Peckham Rye, South East London. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The School:

A SEND special school that currently caters for just 60 pupils pupils aged between 4-7 years old . We are a KS1 to KS4 autism and PMLD provision in the borough of Peckham. All sites are state of the art autism provisions with facilities such as a rebound therapy rooms, sensory integration rooms, life skills and creative art rooms.

The school are proud to be working with young people and their families. Their passion is to ensure that all the pupils are supported to manage themselves, be resilient as well as achieve academically to the best of their ability.

As a PMLD ASD teacher you will be responsible for the below:

Planning and assessing pupils work
Differentiating work to accommodate a range of needs
Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
Updating and setting targets for children.
Working alongside other professionals in the support network
Creating free flwoing and fun lessonsTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:

Previous experience working with students who have Autism and PMLD
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
