The School and Role

This large primary school, based in Chesterfield are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child in a Year 3 Class. The desired person needs to be nurturing and calm in their approach. The role would suit someone with excellent SEND knowledge. Someone who has worked in a special school would be ideal for this role. With experience of working with SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health issues) ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties).

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
