My client are a licensed Asbestos removal contractor and are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Due to being awarded a number of high value, multi year projects, they have the immediate requirement for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join and support the existing site based project teams.

Responsibilities

* Analysis of progress and writing detailed monthly reports

* Valuing completed work and arranging payments

* Minimising the costs of projects and increasing value for money where applicable

* Preparing and submitting Bills of Quantities

* Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations Skills and Qualifications

* Hold a valid CSCS card

* Have membership to RICS, ICES or CIOB;

* Have substantial previous experience in Quantity Surveying within a similar business environment

* Have extensive knowledge of construction and contract law (NEC3, NEC4)
