Deputy Store Manager x2

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex

Salary: £29,100 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and some weekends

The company have exciting opportunities for Deputy Store Managers at their new 1,500 sq ft convenience store in Hailsham.

The Role

Reporting to, and supporting the Store Manager, you will play a vital role in all aspects of store management. 
On a day to day basis, you will oversee the store's operations including stock control, receiving deliveries, assisting the team with any queries and ensuring the best possible experience for their customers.
You will independently manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
You will motivate and lead the team by example.
As Deputy Store Manager, you will be required to be on-call on occasions, they anticipate up to an average of 7 hours per week, and this will be agreed in advance with you
Skills and Qualifications

You will have previous experience of working in a convenience store and a passion for excellent customer service.
You will be computer savvy.
You have experience of leading a team and possess excellent communication skills.
You are eager to learn and develop your management skills.

Your working pattern will be agreed in advance, and they aim to be flexible to your needs where they can, but you will be expected to work/ be on call every third weekend and some evenings.
