About the Role:

The ideal candidate will not only have a strong educational foundation but also a deep understanding of child development and psychology. They should be skilled at implementing evidence-based behaviour management strategies, fostering a supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and respected.

Along with excellent classroom management skills, the successful candidate should have outstanding communication abilities, both with students and parents/guardians. They should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff, ensuring a cohesive approach to student welfare and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Implement behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and safe learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized support.
Develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with behavioural needs.
Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support student development.
Participate in professional development opportunities focused on behaviour management and inclusive education.
Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and resilience within the classroom and school community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on managing challenging behaviour.
Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for inclusive education.
