Academics is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a daily supply basis, supporting various SEN schools across Chester. As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: - Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Adapt to various classroom settings, supporting individual and group activities
- Use your initiative to engage students, foster independence, and promote social and emotional development
- Work alongside experienced educators, gaining valuable skills in SEN education
What We're Looking For: - Experience in an SEN or mainstream setting is preferred
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with children with additional needs
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and age groups
- Relevant qualifications (such as CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
