Ashton Recruitment require a Summer Scheme Leader (Scale 4) for our client based in Lisburn.

Position: Summer Scheme Leader (Scale 4)
Location: Lisburn
Start date: 14/07/2025
Duration: 4 weeks
Rate of Pay: £13.69
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

Please note before submission to the client you would need to complete a Enhanced Access NI at a cost to yourself.

Duties include (but not limited to):
* To be responsible for the supervision and organisation of the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Summer Scheme.
* The post holder will be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all children and staff for the duration of the scheme.
* To ensure that all duties are performed at a high standard and in accordance with all policies and procedures set down by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

Essential Criteria:
* Teaching / Youth Work Qualification at NVQ level 5 or equivalent.
* Two years' experience of working with children.
o Experience of coaching various activities and/or an arts / crafts qualification
* At least 18 years old on or before 19 June 2025.

Desirable Criteria
It is desirable that applicants have the following qualifications / certificates:
* First Aid
* Defibrillator
* EpiPen
