Behaviour Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Requirements:

* Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviour

* Strong behaviour management skills and ability to de-escalate situations

* Experience working within a SEND, SEMH, or Alternative Provision setting

* A passion for supporting young people with additional needs

* Team Teach or de-escalation training is desirable but not essential

The Role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEN School, a specialist independent school in Bexley catering to students aged 6-19 with ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

* As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs

* Assist in managing challenging behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies

* Help students develop their social and emotional skills

* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to implement behaviour strategies

* Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

The School - Behaviour Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant

This Special Needs School School is an Ofsted-registered Independent Special Needs School, providing education for 50 young people who have struggled in mainstream settings due to their SEND needs.
