I am working with a rapidly growing and highly respected client in the compliance and safety space who is looking to appoint a talented Bid Writer to join their Tenders Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business that's scaling fast, driven by a clear mission and a strong set of values. If you're passionate about writing, enjoy collaborating across teams, and thrive under deadlines-this role could be a great fit.

The Role:

As Bid Writer, you'll play a crucial role in helping our client secure new business through compelling, well-structured proposals. You'll be involved in the full bid lifecycle-from research and content creation to post-bid analysis and lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the end-to-end bid process, ensuring deadlines are hit and all parties are aligned

Drafting and tailoring written content for Selection Questionnaires, RFIs, and bid submissions

Collaborating with the sales and operational teams to gather insights and shape strong responses

Conducting client research to create tailored, impactful bids

Helping to review and analyse bid outcomes to continuously improve future submissions

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Bid Writer, ideally with exposure to both public and private sector bids (ideally with experience within the construction industry)

Exceptional written English with a clear, persuasive, and concise style

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Comfortable using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and present proposals

A proactive, team-first mindset and a genuine passion for high-quality work.

What's in It for You:

Unlimited annual leave

A bonus scheme offering up to 50% of annual salary

Clear personal development pathways with ongoing training and mentoring

A supportive, high-performing team environment

Team socials, two company events per year, and a socialising budget

Enhanced parental leave and cycle to work scheme

Recognition and rewards including chances to win European mini-breaks

Our client is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and values-led workplace where people can do their best work and feel genuinely valued.
