We are seeking an experienced Engineering Curriculum Design Specialist for our long established client in Havant. This role is open to both part-time (minimum of 3 days per week) and full-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and refining engineering apprenticeship programs to ensure they align with the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education and industry standards. Specific duties include:
- Collaborating with instructors to assess and optimize teaching methods
- Coordinating with examination bodies to integrate required standards into our curriculum
- Updating course delivery methods, including classroom and digital (eLearning) content
- Managing the teaching timetable and resource allocation
- Supporting the launch of new programs and curriculum improvements
Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of engineering apprenticeship standards such as:
- Level 3: Engineering Fitter, Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician, Engineering Technician (Technical Support), and Machining Technician
- Level 2: Engineering Operative
To thrive in this role, you should be able to establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Additional skills and qualifications include:
- Proficiency in IT and data analysis
- Strong grasp of curriculum design principles and educational best practices
- Excellent project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead curriculum initiatives
