Bookkeeper required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accounts based in Harrow, who provide a range of services to their clients, from bookkeeping and general accountancy to business planning and fantastic tax advice.

Bookkeeper Job Overview - Enter correct data into financial records and recognise/correct errors
- Process payments, invoices, income and receipts while entering data into accounting software
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for clients
- Handle general adhoc duties as and when they are required
- Work as part of a team to ensure all VAT returns are completed and filed
- Prepare quarterly, monthly and annual VAT reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be at a minimum AAT L3 qualified.
Bookkeeper Job Requirements - Candidates must be AAT qualified and have previous experience working in a similar role
- Previous double-entry bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience using Xero
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
