Role and Responsibilities:
As an HGV Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our HGV fleet. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of HGV vehicles to meet both regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

* Carrying out preventative maintenance checks and servicing.

* Utilizing diagnostic tools to assess and fix vehicle faults.

* Ensuring all repair work is completed to high standards and within given timelines.

* Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

* Completing all relevant paperwork accurately.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic, or similar role.

* Relevant HGV mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

* Good understanding of HGV systems and components.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A full, clean driving license; HGV license is a plus but not essential.
