We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant to take the lead on client audits and develop further in a collaborative, flexible working environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Leading audits from planning to finalisation
  • Preparing year-end accounts and draft tax computations
  • Reviewing and coaching junior team members on audit fieldwork and documentation
  • Managing client expectations and dealing with queries in a confident, professional manner
  • Ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards (UK GAAP, FRS 102)
  • Supporting managers and partners with ad hoc advisory and technical projects
  • Contributing to the development of the team and promoting best practices

Required Skills
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level with relevant experience)
  • Previous experience in an accountancy firm delivering audits to a variety of clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
  • Familiarity with audit software - experience with Caseware is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
