Technical Assistant

£25,000, Corby, Monday to Friday Core Hours 8:00am-5:00pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Xmas Party, Xmas Shutdown, Pension, Canteen, Parking, Training and development available, Annual Bonus Scheme

Responsibilities:

Work directly with the Technical Lead to assist in design and engineering tasks
Use AutoCAD 2D and 3D for creating and modifying technical drawings
Provide hands-on support in maintaining and assembling equipment or prototypes
Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide updates on projects
Respond to customer inquiries and offer technical assistance in a professional manner
Ensure technical designs and project deliverables are completed on time
Maintain records of customer interactions, solutions provided, and any follow-up actions requiredRequirements:

A strong understanding of engineering principles
Knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD 2D and 3D would be advantagous
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work well in a hands-on environment and assist with practical tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A willingness to learn and adapt to the technical demands of the roleLocation: Corby

Salary: £25,000 per annum
