This is ideal for a Project Manager who wants to work for a business that is extremely reputable, has a 3 year order book and can enhance your skill set with a variety of renewable focused projects for you to be involved in from the start. The business is an independent Power Systems and Energy Generation Corporation that is looking to expand various divisions of the business with the hiring of like-minded professionals that want to play their part in helping the UK reach net zero by 2050.
They require a Project Manager who has a wealth of experience across a variety of renewables projects with a strong emphasis on Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will also have consistent dealings with the Design, Installation and Commissioning stages of the projects also. Here you will have direct interaction and liaison with a number of disciplines across the whole scope of the project so experience in managing full scale, multi-disciplined projects is key as well as budget control, risk management and the HSE functions of the project.
Your role as a Project Manager will include :
* Home, Office and Site Based Duties.
* Ensuring a smooth running of projects with consistent liaison across Electrical, Mechanical and Civils functions
* Direct involvement with ICP, DNO and IDNO's
* Extensive work within their BESS Functions
The Successful Project Manager will need:
* Proven experience across similar projects (Battery Storage, Solar PV, Power Transmission, Gas to Grid)
* Degree Educated or Time Served Engineer
* A passion for renewable technologies
* Open to nationwide travel and also working from home
