Since the 1970's my client, a successful small British manufacturing company, has become a world recognised specialist producing advanced machinery for the plastic and rubber extrusion sectors.

Fundamental to the growth of the business is to have an applications specialist who can communicate with their customers, understand their requirements and then present an application to them which is appropriate and fully costed; does this sound like you?

Ideally, the company would like to see someone who has already got a sound technical background and will have already undertaken activities such as proposals, tendering, estimating, internal sales and of course applications.

A background in automation, robotics, conveying, handling or special purpose machinery would be perfect but other applicants from other engineering or technology sectors e,g, automotive and aerospace equipment are also encouraged to apply. Regardless of where you come from, we would expect you to have sound communication and customer facing skills.

The company is located just off the M5 in North Gloucestershire and the choice of accommodation is varied and affordable and the social scene for both family and non-family orientated people is second to none in the UK.
