PMLD TA - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely school to support children with additional needs.

Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individuals.

Position Details:

Location: Burnley
Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri (term time only)
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Any professional or personal experience supporting children with complex needs
Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
