Key responsibilities of a Learning mentor - Tower Hamlets

As a Learning Mentor, your primary role will be to provide individualised support to students, promoting their emotional well-being and aiding their academic growth.

Mentor students in their behavioural development
Assistant SEN students within the classroom and outside in small groups
Support students who are academically behind
Support in building students self-esteem and personal development
Acting as a positive role model
Proactive approach
Work closely with teacher and other staff members
Lead or support in interventions based around students needs and developmentOutcomes being a Learning Mentor
