Responsibilities:
  • Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
  • Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
  • Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Caring and empathetic personality.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
