JG192 – Ground WorkerLocation: BasingstokeSalary: £150 – £175 Per Day DOEOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Ground Worker on behalf of one of our clients.You will be responsible for performing manual labour tasks on construction sites, preparing ground surfaces, installing drainage systems, laying paving, and ensuring a safe work environment.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clear construction sites, remove debris, and level surfaces for foundations or other groundwork activities.
• Dig trenches for drainage, utilities, or foundation work.
• Lay paving, curbs and slabs.
• Follow construction plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate and efficient completion of groundwork.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Work closely with other construction workers, site managers, and contractors to ensure the timely completion of groundwork.

Skills and Qualifications:

• CSCS card
• Physical Fitness
• Previous experience in groundwork
