Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Special Primary Education School in Southampton

Starting April 2025 on a long-term contract

Pay: £80 - £100 per day

Hours: 08:30  - 15:30

Supply Desk is proud to support a specialist primary school in Southampton.  This school strives to remove traditional barriers to learning, ensuring that children have access to a holistic and balanced curriculum. As an experienced HLTA, you would have the opportunity to cover whole classes for PPA and provide the consistency that the children in this school greatly need.

Job Description:

Working with children from the ages of 4-11 with additional needs
Supporting whole classes during PPA time and sickness
A resilient, calm and consistent personality
Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
Pay: Daily Rate (£80-100)
Location: Southampton
Start Date: April 2025 (flexible for the right candidate)
Contract Length: Long Term - Potential to become permanent
Hours: Full time
Individual Profile:

Good subject knowledge required
HLTA certification
Must have good classroom and behaviour management
Experience of working with a range of neurodiverse needs
Intervention experience preferred
