An exciting new role has become available within a global business based near the Wembley area. We are seeking a proactive and organised Shipping and Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing the accurate processing of shipping and purchasing activities. If you are a bright and switched-on Administrator with a knack for organisation, this could be the perfect role for you!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with transport, shipping, VAT, and import/export regulations
  • Prepare and process accurate shipping documents
  • Use CRM systems to monitor customer interactions and sales orders
  • Track shipments and address any transit issues promptly
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Organise the shipment of parts and equipment efficiently
  • Create and process purchase orders
  • Confirm order acknowledgements and update ERP systems for inventory management
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other crucial data
  • Schedule and track purchases ensuring timely delivery
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
  • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff for timely restocking
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure stock accuracy

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Essential experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work
