As a Customer Service Advisor / Customer Collections Advisor, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to collect overdue payments and arrange payment plans. To be successful you will quickly determine and understand the needs of our customers and help them reach the best and fairest resolution for their circumstances.

Working in a team of 15 specialists you'll collaborate and share best practice techniques to help you to build your problem solving and negotiation skills even further. Demonstrating expert listening and questioning skills, you'll support customers by providing tailored affordable payment solutions to help them on the road to financial recovery.

To help launch your career in financial services our client will provide you with in-depth induction training where you'll quickly become an expert on the credit industry, our bespoke systems, and clients.

We offer a fantastic starting salary of£23,000 progressing to £23500 plus a bonus of upto (£2,400 OTE per annum) An additional “Earn why you learn” bonus of £500.00 is also paid after your 3-month work anniversary along with a range of other employee benefits.

You will work a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern:

Week one: Monday - Friday 8am until - 4.30pm

Week two: Monday- Friday 10.30am until 7.00pm

(With 1 Saturday required every month - 9am-1pm)

Role & Responsibilities:

* Speaking with customers on inbound and outbound lines to discuss their arrears circumstances and missed payments

* Adhering to customer verification processes and data protection principles

* Ensuring the system is accurately updated after each call

* Discussing debt resolution

* Processing payments

* Ensure the company bad debt policy is followed and reported accordingly

* Delivering excellent service and supporting customers by showing empathy during difficult times

* Achieve individual and team KPI's

* Liaise and communicate with the relevant departments regarding the customer's journey

Skills required:

* Proven experience working in a fast paced customer driven role

* Work well under pressure and towards targets

* Resilient and confident negotiating with customers regarding their payments

* Strong written and verbal communications
