We are looking for a passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join the team at Jean Georges at The Connaught. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef who is ready on to take a new challenge within the outstanding brigade and to develop your career within the award-winning 5-Star deluxe Connaught Hotel.

Internationally renowned Michelin-starred French Chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's eclectic, imaginative menus are inspired both by his experiences of the Far East and his signature use of South-east Asian flavours. As Chef Patron, his distinctive take on British and Connaught classics are reflected in The Connaught menus and are influenced by his earlier working life and love of London. Sourcing the best of British ingredients, the menus also reflect the farm-to-table, fresh-from-the-market approach long pioneered by Jean-Georges.

Responsibilities:

As Demi Chef De Partie, you will assist the kitchen team in the preparation and service of food ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times and to ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required. You will be passionate about working with the finest and freshest ingredients, you will be responsible for the making of exceptional dishes. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of your section, sharing your knowledge and supporting the brigade.

Skills and experience:

You will be an exceptional team player with excellent communication skills and have a key focus on detail to deliver outstanding quality and service within a high profile kitchen. With this in mind, you will have experience ideally at similar level within a quality dining environment and have proven relevant experience.
