Alexander Steele Recruitment are working in partnership with a food manufacturing business in the East Riding of Yorkshire which are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate is Multi Skilled and has experience working ina FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

*

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

*

Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.

*

Support production teams to achieve KPIs by ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

*

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

*

Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding, repair, and maintenance.

*

Assist with installation, commissioning, and improvement projects to enhance plant performance.

*

Ensure all engineering activities are conducted in line with health and safety standards.

*

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and spare parts usage.

*

Collaborate with other departments to deliver engineering solutions that improve processes.
