Area Sales Manager - Roofing Heating Tools
Job Title: Sales Manager - Heating Tools for Roofing
Industry Sector: Roofing merchants, heavyside merchants, gas roofing tools, heating Tools, roofing distributors and wholesalers
Area to be covered: UK with a focus on Midlands/ South East
Remuneration: £40,000 Neg. + Up to £10,000 Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Heating Tools for Roofing will involve:
* Field based position selling high end gas heating tools for the roofing industry
* Selling into roofing merchants, roofing distributors and wholesalers and online businesses e.g. Toolbank, CMO Stores, Burton roofing etc.
* Responsible for the UK budget of £1.7m, personally responsible for circa £650,000
* 40% of £1.7m revenue comes from accounts directly owned, 60% from aligned national sales team that are incentivised to sell these products alongside an alternative range of plumbing and pipe tools
* Responsible for £250,000+ of revenue which comes from supplying British Gas
* Typically 2 teams calls per week with national sales team
* Predominantly an account management role
* Ideally one day per week access to midlands office, although working from home is also possible
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Plumbing and Pipe Tools with:
* Must have sold to heavyside merchants ideally roofing related
* Open to a sales person who has worked for heavyside/ roofing merchants
* General roofing industry knowledge
* Ability to utilise social media as a sales tool would be a huge advantage
* Field sales experience is preferred, but open to other face to face environments
* Keen, hungry and with an attitude of wanting to learn and progress
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to build and develop lasting relationships with customers
* Self-motivated 'go-getter' with a flexible approach
* Able to manage and prioritise accounts
