Page Personnel are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a specialist FMCG business based in Bolton.

The purpose of this role is to assist with all areas of transactional finance whilst also supporting the management accountant with month end management accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts assistant looking for more month end exposure.

Description

Accounts Assistant duties include:

• Inputting purchase invoices

• Bank reconciliations

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Raising sales invoices

• Accruals & prepayments

• Assist with month end processes

• Post month end journals

• Maintaining the fixed asset register

• Assist with financial reporting - weekly, monthly & quarterly

• Maintaining the ledgers

• Tracking & processing expenses

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have a proven track record in a similar role
• Be studying AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
• Be proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Have strong attention to detail
