About the Role

Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive school environment. You will play a pivotal role in helping students manage their behaviour, develop positive strategies, and achieve success in their learning journey. This is a full-time position ideal for those looking to make a real impact in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional challenges.
  • Implement and monitor behaviour management plans, ensuring students feel supported and valued.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for students.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioral needs (school-based experience is desirable).
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies, including de-escalation techniques.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with staff and families.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
