Description

· Supporting the Head of Finance in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all the Trust's financial records, ensuring all income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed.

· Supporting the Finance team with oversight on revaluation and treatment in the accounts

· With the Finance Officer (Property) carry out year-end service charge reconciliation for approval by the Head of Finance

· Working with the Head of Finance, complete and document the charity's rent lease incentive calculation (FRS102 on work related to lease incentive and adjustments).

· Planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, publications, external audits, and drafting the Annual Report and Accounts within agreed timetables, with relevant support.

· Producing a detailed audit schedule in a timely manner for review by the Head of Finance.

· Prepare monthly reconciliations and be responsible for the integrity of those accounts, the ledgers and VAT accounting

· Preparation of VAT Return workings, annual adjustments and associated reconciliations.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant or similar
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

Job Offer

• An estimated daily salary range of 171 GBP to 209 GBP
