Leader Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work at a School based in North Tyneside. The successful Teaching Assistant will have experience within the classroom as well as experience inworking with children or vulnerable people.

The school caters for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH). If you are interested in working in a school that supports children and young with these needs, please apply.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will have:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
• Prior experience of working within a classroom.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students.
