Job Role: Stores Operative

Location: Hinckley

Shift: Mon - Thu 7am - 4pm; Fri 7am - 1pm

Pay Rate / Salary: up to £13:00 depending on experience

Benefits: On-site parking, Permanent position

Stores Operative Position:

Due to continued growth, the company is now recruiting an experienced Stores Operative.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and pack manufactured items for shipment.
• Loading stock with forklift.
• Safely operating forklift trucks and other equipment.
• Handballing stock.
• Delivering to customers (driving van up to 3.5 tonnes) locally and occasionally to London or Manchester.
• General workshop operative duties.

The Ideal Candidate for the Stores Operative position:

• Have Forklift driving experience or licence.
• Have a clean driving license.
• Have Literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
• Be reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Have great communication skills.
• Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Possess a fitness level required for manual handling.

Licence/Certification Required:

• Clean driving Licence
• FLT Certificate or Experience
