Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established Early Years team at a primary school in Northolt, Ealing. This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible, offering an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for Early Years education.

The successful candidate will lead a nursery classroom, working closely with two highly experienced and capable HLTAs. The classroom is well-resourced, with strong systems in place, and benefits from the support of a leadership team that values collaboration and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

*

Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that supports all areas of early development

*

Lead the nursery classroom, working in close partnership with two skilled HLTAs

*

Monitor and track children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required

*

Foster strong, supportive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues

*

Take an active role in school life, including attending staff meetings, contributing to planning and participating in CPD

*

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and care at all times

Candidate Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, though strong unqualified teachers or experienced Early Years practitioners will also be considered

*

A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development

*

Proven experience working within an Early Years setting

*

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to lead a team and set high expectations

*

A collaborative, reflective and proactive approach to teaching and learning

*

Commitment to inclusion and the ability to adapt learning for a wide range of needs
