Opersations Finance & Admin
A well established Road Freight company that has been operating for over 40 years, is seeking an Operations Finance, and Administration Manager to join their team in Southend.
This is a new role within the business, the office offers a friendly and relaxed environment.
Ideal candidates will need to have come from the transport and logistics industry, have good attention to detail and be happy to work in the office 5 days per week.
Operations Finance & Admin Manager
- Responsible for Insurance Claims, gathering this information from the relevant managers, spreadsheeting this and passing onto insurers
- Helping to put invoices on Sage from each depot
- Input workshop purchase invoices onto sage
- Helping prepare invoices from transport team and presenting to customers for approval prior to adding them to vehicle files and invoicing
- Ref above - Cross files, log invoice numbers and file job files
- Adding these revenues to the cost sheet
- Inputting other relevant data onto cost sheet such as tolls/ parking
- Dartford toll allocation
- Fuel report
- Managing road tax payments
- Managing monthly KPIs from accounts and transport departments for monthly presentations to Directors
- Vehicle files - files scan into Server for all depots
- Vehicle files - Update / file service records for all depots
- Create vehicle front sheets for new vehicles/ trailers
Annually
- Organise vehicle front sheets for the next year
- Organise / update service records sheets / folders
Package
- £35,000 per annum
- 8:30 - 5:30 Monday to Friday
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
