Credit Control Manager – Insurance / City of London / £40,000 - £60,000 Overview:My client, a leading specialist insurance and reinsurance company based in the city, are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will supervise a small team and report directly into the Finance Manager. Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 2 credit controllers and promote a positive team approach
• Responsible for the credit control of all balances, including Aged & Bad debt
• Maintain relationships with internal / external stakeholders and develop relationships with various areas within the business (Claims, Finance and Underwriting)
• Collection, settlement and allocation of all written premiums
• Ensure processes are followed at all times in an accurate manor

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years’ experience within credit control, specifically within the insurance sector
• Good understanding of payment terms in Lloyd’s format
• Experience managing a small team
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Great communications skills and attention to detail
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field

Package:

• Salary dependent on experience, ranging between £40,000 - £60,000
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
