Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

A thriving primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students.

Role Overview:

• Lead small group interventions and assist with whole-class teaching

• Support lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management

• Work closely with teachers and SEN students to enhance learning

• Cover lessons when required and foster a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience

• Strong classroom leadership and behaviour management skills

• Experience working in KS1 and/or KS2 settings

• Passionate about supporting young learners
