Protective Care Group is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to young people who need it most. As we establish our presence and grow, we're looking for two passionate and dedicated deputy managers to join our team and help shape our future.

You will be placed in a team anywhere within the North East of England so flexibility in travel and staying away from home is essential.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Inspiring, leading and motivating the team to achieve positive outcomes for the YP.
- Fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Promote a positive culture throughout the team, in line with PCG.
- Working with the team manager to lead and support day to day operations.
- Managing conflicts within the team and be the point of contact for Support Worker escalations.
- Managing multiple priorities.
- Working in partnership with other health and social care professionals and agencies, carers and families ensuring that decisions about care are shared.
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met and the team have the correct knowledge.
- Inducting and training new joiners to the team.
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent relevant qualification) is required, along with prior experience in a management role within the children's care sector.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- A full UK manual driving license.
- Shifts typically follow a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including both 12 hour day and 12 hour waking night shifts, often your day shifts will be followed by a sleep in. There are a number of our services which may operate outside of this so flexibility is key.
