Shift Work: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Randstad C&P are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fabric Engineer to join our team on the HSE Contract. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the building's fabric,ensuring that all facilities are kept in optimal condition to support a safe and productive working environment. This role is integral to delivering high-quality maintenance services, aligned with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
● Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks on the building fabric, including
carpentry, plastering, painting, and general building repairs.
● Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address potential issues
before they escalate.
● Carry out minor electrical and plumbing repairs, ensuring compliance with health and
safety regulations.
● Assist with the installation of fixtures and fittings, such as doors, windows, shelving, and
signage.
● Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing tasks
based on urgency.
● Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with clients policies
and procedures.
● Maintain accurate records of work carried out, materials used, and time spent on each
task.
● Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to ensure the smooth operation
of the facilities.
● Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all
building occupants.

Qualifications and Experience:
● NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade.
● Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a facilities management or building
maintenance environment.
● Strong skills in general building maintenance, including carpentry, plastering, and
painting.
● Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

● Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● A commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining high standards.
● A full UK driving licence is desirable.
