Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Central Belt of Scotland
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits

A nationally recognised Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in Scotland are now seeking to take on a qualified and diligent Asbestos Surveyor. You will be working on a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites including Commercial, Industrial, Social Housing and Healthcare sites. You will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveying duties in line with HSG 264 guidelines as well as providing clients with excellent consultancy advice and support when required. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into various environmental sectors, company vehicle, company pension and excellent holiday allowance.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Coatbridge, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Edinburgh, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Penicuik.

Experience & Qualifications:
" You must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
" Strong surveying background within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" In depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Able to communicate efficiently.
" Organising workload in line with company and client needs.
" Familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.

The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Bagging and labelling suspected ACMs.
" Sending ACMs for analysis.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports.
" Providing clients with excellent consultancy advice.
