HVAC Service Engineer

Location: Onsite as required (Covering London & Home Counties)

Salary: £43,000 - £50,000

Hours: Standard hours are 7:00 - 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Overtime available but not essential, paid at 1.5x rate.

Job Profile:
The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services across a range of HVAC systems. This individual will work independently on various projects, ensuring efficient equipment operation and contributing to the overall effectiveness of engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance and repairs on split/multi split systems, DX and CW FCUs

* Independently service VRV and VRF condensers and CRAC units

* Compile detailed dilapidation reports

* Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repair needs

* Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics

* Deliver accurate and timely work reports to a high standard

* Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and company policies

* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of health and safety procedures

Requirements / Skills:

* Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification

* Category 1 F-Gas certification or equivalent

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and office-based teams

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work

* Experience with manufacturer service software

* Understanding of HVAC data and performance metrics

* Experience with chillers, AHUs, and refrigeration systems (desirable)
