Citrix Engineer

Initial 6 Month Contract

£500/day (Inside IR35)

Fully Remote

I am currently looking for a Citrix Engineer for my insurance client. They will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and the launch of efficient operation of all End User Computing systems to support core organisational functions; this includes all Projects, Continual Service Improvement, and BAU activities

• Assist in the strategic design and implementation of the End User Computing infrastructure to ensure its high availability as well as own and manage service improvement plans
• provide 3rd line IT support and act upon and resolve incidents escalated to the team in a timely manner
• Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new services and enhancements to existing services within End User Computing
• Ownership of systems used for monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and security patching for End User Computing infrastructure
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability on computing systems
• Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving implementation decisions
