Role- Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Salary- £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent

Location- Stoke-on-Trent

My client works within the engineering sector and they are looking to take on an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC/ NVQ/ C&G qualified or similar in Electrical Engineering
Excellent hands-on servicing or maintenance experience in a similar role
Be confident in responding to faults
Be able to read engineering drawings
Have a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Have good communication skills
Working at height training would be desirable
Any HV experience would also be advantageous but not essential as training can be givenThe Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Ensuring that all electrical equipment is running safely and efficiently
Working with both reactive and proactive maintenance methods
Being involved in preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment
Fault finding, test work and modifications to processes when required
Fault find on control panels and wiring of motors
Installing and replacing cabling as required
Working on ant breakdowns in an efficient and timely manner
Work alongside other colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team
Liaising with Contractors when required too
Working from electrical drawings
Working in confined spaces and also at height
